Art Park Celebrates 25 Years with Online Auction Benefitting Local Artists

THOMPSONVILLE, MI — Michigan Legacy Art Park is celebrating its 25th anniversary year with an Online Auction. The auction features original artwork, gift certificates, and other unique packages. The auction ends at 7:00 PM EST on Sunday October 25, 2020.

There is no fee to register, and anyone can bid. Items will be mailed, dropped off, or can be picked up in Thompsonville or Traverse City for winning bidders. You can preview the catalog for the auction here.

This celebratory auction features works from local artists Dewey Blocksma, David Petrakovitz, Terry Tarnow, and more. Original pottery by acclaimed Michigan potter JT Abernathy will also be available.

This virtual fundraising program will benefit Michigan Legacy Art Park and help the organization continue to provide meaningful experiences in art, nature, and history for another 25 years. Michigan Legacy Art Park recognizes how difficult this year has been for artists and has made the decision to return a percentage of the proceeds back to the artists who have donated their work to the auction. This special auction will benefit the artists in your community and will support their future work.

All details for the auction can be found online or by calling (231) 378–4963.
